Cleansers
Today, there are several brands and types of cleansers available for you to choose from. The cleansers can be classified as two types: “tissue-off” cleansers and “rinse-off” cleansers.
. Tissue-off cleansers are normally referred to as “cream” or “milk” cleanser and have high oil content. This oil will combine with the makeup, facial oils and grime and thus allow them to be easily wiped off. “Tissue-off” cleansers cause less drying and are suitable for normal to dry skins.
. Rinse-off cleaners are water based and contain some type of detergents, which will help to remove makeup and excess oils.
This is suitable for those with oily or combination skin. It should be mild so that it can easily and effectively cleanse
your skin without causing drying of the skin. Commonly available “rinse-off” cleansers are gels, foaming cleansers and facial washes.
