5 Minute Make up – A complete makeover

FIVE-MINUTE MAKEOVER

STEP 1 – FOUNDATION
When you apply foundation apply it uniformly on to the face with the help of a cosmetic sponge. During daytime, a normal application is enough, but at nighttime, you may need to apply a bit more.

STEP 2 – CONCEALER
If your face has areas like dark under-eye circles, blemishes, red spots or broken capillaries, the concealer can help you to hide these. It can be easily applied to the area, which you wish to conceal with a brush and then blend with your fingertips.

STEP 3 – POWDER
As the finish is lighter it is better to use loose powder to set your foundation. For a sheer finish, apply it lightly with a
large powder brush and for a heavier finish use a puff or sponge. You have to dust a little under your eyes too to set your concealer and also prevent creasing under the eyes.

STEP 4 – EYES
For a quick and easy make up, sweep a single wash of color over the entire area of your eye in a neutral color. Apply it on your brows too. Then apply the liner and mascara.

STEP 5 – LIPS
The lipstick selected should belong to the same color family of the other colors of the face. Line your lips and then fill with your lip color choice. Gloss is optional.

STEP 6 – BLUSH
The intensity of blush can be determined by taking your cue from the rest of your face. During daytime, a light sweep of
color is enough whereas during night, add little more color or glitz with light dusting of Sacha’s Satin Powders.

STEP 7 – FINISH
After finishing the last step, lightly spray a make up hold Spray over the whole of your face to make it set and hold it in
place for a longer time.

TIP:

Eyebrows Maintenance Techniques

Eyebrows Maintenance Techniques

As per makeup artists, it is the eyebrows that can make or break your face. Eyebrows are the frame which showcases the beauty of your eyes. They move with any or all of your expression on your face and help you to express your feelings.

Start by brushing your brows with a brow brush. Then to measure the brows hold a pencil vertically along the outer corner of your nose to the inner edge of the brow. If your brows overlap into the bridge remove the excess hair. If the brows are small in length then extend it with a pencil. To find out the point where your brow should end, hold the pencil from the outer corner of the nose across the corner of the eyes to the outer edge of the brow. This is the point where the brow should end.

Brows can be altered or emphasized. For that, a brow pencil or brow powders can be used.

TIPS:

1. Always select a brow color, which is very natural in color. The main objective is to define the brow and not create it. To fill in the brows first comb it well and then use feather like stokes with your pencil to fill in. Combing it again after
filling it can create a more natural look. Sacha’s dark brown Single eye shadow is very effective in case of darker brows.
2. If you are using a powdered brow color, then use a hard bristled angle brow brush and draw tiny hair like strokes. The Brow pencils should be sharpened and use in the same way as a brush. A disposable mascara wand can be used to soften it. The technique is to comb, apply and then comb again.
3. If your brows are closer to your eyes or lower, then your face could be opened up by bleaching them.

How do I Apply Foundation

How do I Apply Foundation

Assessing the skin tone is the first step in selecting your foundation or to determine the type of foundation that will best suit you.

The selection of the foundation shade for your skin is a very critical part. Most people have yellow-based tone and need to wear yellow based foundation. All Sacha foundations are yellow based and vary the shade from lightest to darkest. You can identify your shade of foundation at any store. Follow the instruction as per given in the site and identify the shade of foundation that best suit your skin.

For even application you can use cosmetic sponge.

Make your face ready to apply foundation with the use of a suitable cleanser and toner. Then apply Sacha’s Daily Moisturizer, which is a very good under make up base. It improves the right application of foundation and improves its longevity. It is a requirement for all women with dry skin.

Better use a cosmetic sponge for applying your foundation as it provides more control and smoother application.
Liquid foundation should be blended in a small quantity at a time until the whole of your face is covered.
Cream foundation requires a long sweeping motion of application with your cosmetic sponge. It should be blended evenly to get a smooth flawless finish.

A powder foundation should be applied as you do your normal compact powder.

Proper blending is very important. Blend the foundation under the jaw line, into the hairline, on the ear lobes, on the corners of the nose, corners of the mouth, over and under the eyes. After that apply powder lightly with a translucent powder to set your foundation.

Tips:
The foundation should be tested on your jaw line and should not be done on your hand or inside your wrist. Examine it under different light setting. It should match with your natural color of neck.

Wet your cosmetic sponge to create a sheer finish.
