Concealers are available in sticks, tubes, pots and creams and are denser than regular foundations. It is used to conceal the blemishes, dark spots, ruddy areas, marks, veins, freckles or under eye circles.

The concealer you are using should be always one step lighter than your foundation (only in some extreme cases you should use a concealer two shade lighter). If the concealer is too light or too pink it can cause to give you an appearance of ‘owl eyes’. It will only highlight the dark area instead of hiding it.

CONCEALER APPLYING

Use a Fine tipped brush for an accurate application of your concealer. Blending is the key thing required while applying it. Like other applications blending is the key in this too. You should always set your concealer with a sheer, translucent powder so as to prevent it from creasing.

Tips

Make sure that you have properly covered the areas like nose bridge, outer corner of the eyes etc, which tend to be darker. You can hide the age by applying the concealer in little downward turning lines at the corner of your mouth.
