Concealer
The beauty
tip to use concealer very effectively in covering the skin blemishes.
The purpose of a good concealer is to hide all wound marks, birth marks or any
other marks on your skin. You can use your finger tip or a soft and flat brush
to apply concealer. If you do not have perfect skin, you sure need some quality
concealer.
NOTE: In order to lift your eyes, concealer should be covering the whole of your
under eye, even including the outside of your eye. Redness and dryness affect
the out side area of your eyes as well.
For concealing large areas like under eye dark circles or dry skin, it is best
to use a liquid concealer.
If the purpose is to conceal scars, bruises, pimples etc., then a solid
concealer is the best choice.
A cream to powder foundation would be a much more natural concealer. You can do
it so as to go with the shade of foundation you using, be it liquid or cream.
NOTE: You will find great results if you apply your liquid or solid concealer on
top of your
foundation. But on cream to powder foundation, it should be other
way around; you will have to apply the concealer first.
Expert Tricks
- You may add some yellow eye shadow on to your foundation or concealer while
trying to hide dark circles. This will result in better color shades for your
dark circles after concealing.
- To hide broken capillaries or ruddy tones, eye shadow of either blue or green
color can be added to your concealer.
- The left over stuff from your foundation can be used as an effective concealer. As it has
less water content in it, it has the appropriate thickness for a concealer. And
your foundation and concealer match perfectly in this case.
