Combination Hair
A beauty tip on how to take care if you have combination hair

You will find a lot of different varieties of hair on different people. Some
people have thick hair; some have fine hair. Some have
curly hair; some others
have straight hair. Some are blessed with really oily hair due to more
production and accumulation of Sebum; some others have really dry hair. Sebum is
the natural oil released by our skin. You need to follow different routines to
take care of each kind of hair.
How do you take care of your hair if it is a combination type? How will you
handle your hair if it is very oily at the roots and if they tend to get dry and
brittle at the tips? How is it possible to handle this situation?
There are multiple methods to take care of this problem as well. All you need to
do is use the correct beauty products at the appropriate levels and at the right
intervals. Thus you will be able to protect the beauty of your hair and keep it
strong and healthy. Now what are the methods involved in taking care of
combination hair?
First step is washing the hair the proper way. Do not use hot water to make your
hair wet in order to shampoo. As hair is damaged at extremely high heat, hot
water is going to mess up your hair. The better choice would be lukewarm water.
Pick up the right hair products for your hair. When you have combination hair,
never use shampoo specifically for oily hair. This will really damage the dry
end areas of your hair. Shampoos for regular or normal hair is the appropriate
kind.
Only use sufficient shampoo for the purpose. A quarter size of shampoo is enough
to do the job. You need to apply the shampoo straight on to your scalp and let
the suds travel to the tip of your hair. The essential oil on the tip of the
hair will be lost if you apply shampoo directly on to the tip of the hair.
In case you have to apply shampoo on the tips, just grab some suds from the top
of your head and put it to work to wash the hair ends. Never try to clean the
hair ends too much. Make sure all of the shampoo is fully washed off and their
is no more slippery feeling on your hair.
You need to use a rinse off conditioner after shampooing your hair. Applying the
conditioner is done in the opposite way as that of shampoo. You should not apply
the conditioner on to the scalp as this will result in the moisturizing agents
in the conditioner making the
scalp too oily. Apply the conditioner on to the
tips of your hair and do a thorough washing with cold water to hold the moisture
and to prevent your skin from releasing too much oil.
Undergoing a deep conditioning treatment once every week will be good for the
added TLC for your combination hair. Use some good moisturizing conditioner on
the drier parts of your hair and wrap your head up in a bath towel and wait for
at least two hours before you rinse it all off. Olive oil will give the same
effect as the moisturizing conditioner and could be used in place. Do a
hair cut
to get rid of the damaged hair tips every two months or so.
