Christmas Nails
Learn from our beauty tips how to spot Cool Christmas Nails and have a Christmas Nails Party.

You can bring in your female friends and relatives of all ages and sizes!!
Higher the number, the more fun it is!!
Collect varnishes in any colors and types. Grab them from wherever they are present, even from your closets! That would effectively give you a free closet clear up as well while giving you the best of cool Christmas nails.
Bring in all the nail varnishes possible, be it clear or translucent.
A low heat producing hair dryer.
Fancy glitter, permanent marker pens, clothes, sponge, card, scissors, nail glue, feathers, sequins and similar things.
A place or table around which you can sit around and whose surface is easily cleanable, in case some spill over happens.
For emergency purposes get some tissues and varnish removers as well!!
These are some rough sketches to follow. You can
let your imagination run wild and make the party as exciting as possible!!
Glitter Chick
You can create your own glittery Christmas nail varnish design really easy. First paint
your nails with a base coat of your choice of varnish. Now you can sprinkle some
glitter on to this before it dries. There is no limit on the color of glitter
you can use. Use your imagination and create whatever you feel like, be it a
rain bow or stars and stripes. Dry the varnish with the help of the hair dryer.
Now you can finish it off by applying a clear varnish. This will hold the
glitter in place without making it scratch your skin. Think about the situation
if it gets entangled in your under pants!!
Seasonal Stencils
Think about the possible shapes you can create by making stencils out of cards.
There are any number of possibilities like snow flakes, stars, snow men etc.
After you make the stencil, you can put it on your nail in the preferred
position. You need to remove the extra polish out of the varnish brush in order
to prevent the varnish from spreading every where. You need to brush on the
stencil until the proper shape is created. As soon as you remove the stencils,
your special seasonal nails are ready, hardly in any time!!
Serial Stamping
You can create your own stampers by creating small shapes out of any available
old sponges. It would be easy if you create simple and easy shapes like
triangles, circles etc. Complicated shapes will be hard to be cut out of sponge.
Now you may paint your nails with a base coat of varnish. After the base is
dried down, apply varnish on your stamper and stamp your nails. If it did not
come out to your satisfaction, you can stipple your nail with the stamper to
give it a special color effect. For this to work to your satisfaction the
varnish needs to be smooth at the ends to give you best of the seasonal nail
styles. If the varnish stays in lumps, then it
will give a bad look.
Crazy Lady
This will be the right method for you if you are in any mood to experiment a
little too much!! You can stick some fancy items on to your nails. First you
need to paint your nails with a base coat of your choice. You can use bright or
subtle colored varnish for it. You may try some thing bold by using stripes,
dots etc. as well. With the help of some nail glue you can stick any thing like
feathers, festive designs etc. on to your nails. You can wear matching dress,
jewelry, hair accessories etc. and you will be the star of the room!!
Funky Freehand
The best class you can ever get is this one, if you are not too good
artistically with your hands. You can mix different colors of nail polish right
on your nail. You may draw any free hand design or use stripes, dots, seasonal
shapes etc. You can go further down on this one after the polish is dry. You can
draw on the top of your nail with a permanent marker. It would be much better if
the marker has a very fine tip. You may even be able to draw a dotted border
around the varnished nails. When the art work is finished, give a clear coat of
varnish over it. Even your regular permanent marker can add shine to your
nails!!
Now why is the delay for the party now? Get.. Set.. Go...
