Emma Charlotte Duerre Watson was born on 15th April 1990 at Oxford in England. Her parents Jacqueline and Chris were lawyers and were divorced. Emma lived with her mother and brother. In the school she participated in many plays and productions. Her Debut professional film acting was in Harry Potter and the Philosopher Stone in 2001. She was not having much expectation to get the role of Hermione Granger, as too many girls were participating in the auditioning.
Since the first film, she acted in all four current Harry Potter films and rumored to be the Pink ranger in a TV series of Power Rangers in 2007. She also enjoys playing hockey, debating and taking care of her cats Bubbles and Domino.
She was appointed as a jury member at the First Light film Awards conducted at London Leicester Square. The other jury members were Samantha Morton, Pierce Brosnan and Kenneth Branagh.
She is fluent in speaking French, Italian and German. At the age 15, she was the youngest person to appear on teen Vogue magazine and in the year 2005 she along with Rupert Grint and Daniel Radcliffe were named number 9 on Entertainment Weekly’s Best entertainers of the year.
