Men are supposed to be rough and tough.
Or at least, that is what they were supposed to be. Like the heroes of cow boy films and advertisements like Marlboro man, this image has been an integral part of male machismo. But things have changed with time. The arrival of “metrosexual man” along with the customer centered professions like sales, marketing, flight attendant etc changed this ideal. Many of these professions required men to be well groomed. Thus skin care regimen has become an integral part of men who are trying to go up in their career ladder.
Sticking to a good skin care regimen can help people to stay healthier and look younger all at the same time. Healthier facial skin means a lot easier shaving too. The time spend on nourishing your skin would be an asset in your future. Proper skin care can delay the results of aging, like lose of elasticity of your skin. As skin is the barrier which is exposed to all the germs and bacteria surrounding you, it plays an important role in your healthy life. Healthy skin is going to help you stay healthy longer. No one wants to look old and fragile. So attaining healthy skin is a win win situation for every one!
Can Men Use Women‘s Skin Care Products And Vice Versa?
If you compare skin care products for women and men, you will find that men’s products are comparatively cheaper than that of women. And most of them have the same or similar ingredients in it. So, it would be a smart move for women to use men’s skin care products from the financial point of view. Sadly, it won’t be beneficial for men.
Financial part aside, the big question is, is it safe for men and women to use their partner’s skin care products? Is it going to affect the nature of the person in any way? Does the use of feminine skin care products going to affect the macho nature of man and change him in to a sissy? Does the use of male skin care products cause women to lose their feminine nature? Skin is just skin and nothing of that sort is going to happen. The only thing that matters is the nature of the person’s skin. If the husband and wife both have the same type of skin, then they can happily share each others skin care products. If not, that can cause breakouts in skin. If either one of you have oily skin and the other one has dry skin, then you are out of luck. Both of you will have to get your own skin care products. Skin care products for dry skin contain ingredients to hydrate the skin. So these can wreck havoc on oily skinned people.
The fragrance of the skin care products for men vary from that of women. This can be a turn off for many men and women. Masculine and feminine scents differ from each other significantly and can be a problem. If both of you can agree on unscented products, this problem can be avoided.

I dont think that men and women should use each skin care products vice versa. If somebody found that you’re using cream for women, they thought your gay. Though you said skin is just skin, what does it take is the image. Although practically speaking, that men’s skin care products are cheaper than womens products.
Yes they can of course. I think the skin care products that a man can use are the moisturizer, toning cream and the body lotions. But some men find it irritating when using products for women.
Skincare is sometimes a big deal to most people, it needs a lot of money, time, and effort. Cleansing your face does not have to be a step process, and you don’t have to expend a lot of means to stock up your remedies cabinet with cabinets of products.
nice article. I like the idea of women buying men’s products because they’re cheaper!
